The last few tees are being crossed and the last few eyes are being dotted. That is exciting for me, but please be patient while images are added and coded is finalized. And please email at contact@to-be-announced.com with questions, specific and general. Thanks!

Vegas Style Maniac 12"
T'Jha
"P" Factor Records, US 1991
€179.99
VG+/Generic
T'Jha is Las Vegas native Terry Smith and under that moniker produced a cassette album, a split 12" with Dr. Hype on Warped Records. And this Vegas Style Maniac 12" which is for sale right here. Have a listen to both sides. Breathe in those Vegas fumes. I spent a new years eve at the Las Vegas International airport and to this day that remains my only Las Vegas experience. So I really don't know what makes a Vegas Style Maniac different than an El Paso Style Maniac or a Sante Fe Style Maniac.
I know I'm being dumb. Both sides of this record are a High Quality, Hight Definition, 5K meld of Rhythm 'n' Blues and New Jack Swing. It might feel reductive to say this reminds me of Prince, but it does! Prince spawned a good number of copycats, but T'Jha has the feel of someone with a similar vision. He produced his music, played every instrument and sang, and then distributed on his own "P" Factor Records label. Insanely rare and under-the-radar and good.
The vinyl is conservatively graded at Very Good Plus and the sleeve Generic (but still in shrink, if that means anything). Images and audio clips are from the copy for sale.
