To-Be-Announced (2BA) is a modest online shop based in western Sweden and managed by me, Evan Jordan. 2BA sells second-hard media (vinyl, cassette tapes, compact discs) from around the world, from ‘80s-early ‘00s, from Ambient to Zouk. These represent an intersection of obscurity, rarity and actually good music. 2BA isn’t a museum of vanity and I price with the intention of selling. The stock is constantly in-coming and, hopefully, out-going.

That said, these records/tapes/CDs aren’t eggs by the dozen or milk by the gallon. Pricing is elastic and has a large subjective component. But I try to be fair based off sales histories. I want to find a price where I am confident the buyer would be able to resell for more. I’d rather make a friend and customer than make an extra 10€.

I use the Goldmine Standard like everyone else. I provide HQ images and audio clips to give the most accurate representation of a record’s condition and try to describe a record’s flaws to the best of my abilities. The highest I grade is Near Mint and that applies only to a sealed record, where the sleeve is either 1) in pristine condition, or 2) a generic sleeve.

To-Be-Announced uses Postnord Skicka Direkt Business for all orders. Orders are sent registered and can be tracked inside your account’s shipping module or here: https://www.postnord.se/en/our-tools/track-and-trace/.

All orders are shipped in new cardboard mailers with two cardboard stiffeners, and inside new thick plastic outer sleeves. Usually I use some bubblewrap too, but for 7” packages there usually isn’t enough space for that.

I ship on Monday, Thursday and Saturday evenings. Below are the estimated delivery times per region, according to Postnord documentation:

Greater Europe (Including U.K.)

2-3 weekdays

North America

4-6 weekdays

South America

5-7 weekdays

Japan

4-6 weekdays

China

5-6 weekdays

Shipping costs are determined by Postnord Sverige. Really, for orders outside of Sweden, there are no significant differences in shipping costs. I mean it costs no more for me to ship to Denmark as it does to Tierra del Fuego. So that makes things simple for everyone. I use only new cardboard mailers, two stiffeners, sometimes bubblewrap and always new thick plastic outer sleeves. These costs are not reflected in shipping costs.

So, as of this writing, and this conversion rate from SEK to EUR, the costs look like this:

Up to 250g (two Tapes/Cds/7”): €11.73

Between 251g & 750g (two albums or 10” or 12”): €14.51

Between 751g & 1250g (in any combination of format): €21.29

For any order above 1250 grams shipping is free.

For any order over €300 shipping is free.

Obs! The above applies to everyone outside of Sweden. Domestic shipping is cheaper, I know, but I can’t figure out how to revise shipping costs for domestic addresses. I’ll work on that, but for now: If you live in Sweden, just pay the following shipping and I will refund the difference.

If, for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with an order, you may return an item for a refund. The buyer pays return shipping (must be registered shipping). When the package has been returned and the item has been examined a refund will be made. I would prefer not to make partial refunds in this situation, but exceptions can be made.

Trades are certainly on the table, but I don’t often trade. Bulk deals, however, are always an option. Please message me about orders of three or more records. Also I have a size-able stock of €15 to €50 records that don’t have a place in my shop. They are great records, but more appropriate to sell in bulk to physical shops.

As of this writing, I offer free shipping for any order of €300 or greater. I have the ability to generate discount codes for registered users, which is probably another good reason to register. But currently I’m not 100% sure how I will incorporate them… But I do have some ideas hehe.
